Since the end of lockdown, we have been offering consultations, viewings and test rides by appointment only. We have been so successful with this system that we were fully booked from Tuesday to Friday. This means that from August onwards, we will also have to charge for appointments during the week. But don't worry, anyone who buys a bike will get the £60 back. Thanks to this system, we can continue to offer the best purchase prices, the largest selection and the greatest capacity for after-sales services.

Velo Zürich opened its doors 17 years ago today. It was also a Saturday and there was already a lot of activity in and around the shop. Today it is supposedly quiet. The online order for a flyer placed at 11.32 pm arrived silently via the web shop. Customer number 24,473 has just been created. He booked a chargeable Saturday appointment for a consultation and test drive. He seems to know exactly what he wants. He chose one of 1,449 vehicles. If he buys this or another within 30 days, the CHF 60 will be credited to him. For some years now, Velo Zürich has made every single bike or e-bike available online, with all the important information. From the comfort of your own home, you can use filters such as body size, price, availability, frame shape, vehicle type and much more to reduce the selection to just a few, so that you can find out in no time at all whether a suitable vehicle is available. None of this was possible 17 years ago. We are proud of what we have achieved and never tire of optimising our range, our services and our processes every day for the benefit of everyone. Last night, Swiss television SRF showed the e-mountain bike test of the ADAC and TCS on Kassensturz. Of the 9 e-fullys tested, the Cube Stereo Hybrid was chosen as the test winner. We are proud of our partner and supplier and glad that we have ordered enough Cube e-mountain bikes in March 2022, which are either already in stock or will be delivered this year. We still have a total of 73 Cube e-mountain bikes available. We only have one per model and size, so we recommend you buy soon, as the delivery times for the next ones are still very long.

In March 2022, Thomas Ernst, owner of Velo Zürich GmbH, rode a cargo bike to CUBE's headquarters in Waldershof in two days. That was a journey of a good 500 km. There he ordered 559 bicycles and e-bikes for Velo Zürich and drove the distance back within two days. In the meantime, the first CUBE bikes have arrived. We are looking forward to working with the German manufacturer.
